That is why many couples plan a 3 day wedding in Tuscany: everyone arrives and meets over a welcome dinner on Friday, Saturday belongs to the ceremony and the party, and Sunday ends with a farewell brunch. The villa or estate is taken on a buyout for the whole stay and becomes home for the group. A weekend is planned differently from a one-day wedding. You need to know who sleeps on site and who stays nearby, what guests do between events, and how the two of you keep your energy for Saturday. We look for a villa or estate available on exclusive use for the whole weekend and check bedrooms, an indoor room for rain and the house rules on music.
Rooms for every guest
Guests who do not fit in the main house go to agriturismi and small hotels close by; we keep one rooming list and tell guests when to book.
Friday: the welcome dinner
A relaxed dinner or aperitivo so both families and your friends meet before the ceremony, with a simpler menu and free seating.
Saturday: the wedding day
Ceremony, dinner and dancing on one timeline, with the couple getting ready in a separate wing so the morning stays calm.
Time between the events
We offer guests a tasting at a neighbouring estate, a morning in Florence or Siena, or a day by the pool. All optional, nothing compulsory.
Sunday: farewell brunch and departures
A late breakfast with no fixed start, then transfers to the Florence and Pisa airports matched to each guest's flight.

Questions about a Tuscany wedding weekend
How many guests can stay at the villa for a wedding weekend?
It depends on the house: some villas sleep a couple of families, others have annexes and cottages on the grounds. Usually the couple, parents and the wedding party stay on site and the rest sleep a few minutes away.
Do we need a full villa buyout for the whole weekend?
For this format it is the easiest choice: no outside guests, a quiet set-up for Saturday, and the welcome dinner and brunch in the same place. Rental terms, including minimum nights, vary from villa to villa, and we check them before you book.
Should the welcome dinner be at the villa or somewhere else?
If the set-up for Saturday is already under way, a neighbouring estate or a trattoria reserved for your group works better. If the house is large and the set-up is out of sight, staying put spares guests a transfer.
What can guests do on Saturday morning while we get ready?
Something light and close by: the pool, a stroll through the nearest village, a short tasting. Everyone must be back in good time, so longer outings belong on Friday or after the wedding.
How far ahead should we book a 3 day wedding in Tuscany?
For May, June and September, a year or more is wise, because villas that sleep a whole group go first for weekends. Weekdays and the shoulder season give more freedom with dates.
