Wedding celebrant and officiant in Tuscany
A host and celebrant who works in your language and in Italian or English, leading the ceremony, toasts and the course of the evening.
At a wedding abroad, guests speak different languages, and the host is the person who ties them into one celebration. We select a host who works in your language and in Italian or English, so that relatives from different countries understand what is happening. The host sets the rhythm of the evening: invites guests to the ceremony, announces toasts and watches that dinner, cake and dancing keep to time. We agree the script with them in advance, so that they do not replace your programme with their own.
What we arrange
Choosing the host
We introduce candidates by video call and discuss the manner: a restrained master of ceremonies or a livelier host, one language or two.
Leading the ceremony
The host announces the entrance, reads the ceremony text, translates for guests and helps the couple not to lose the thread at the vows and the exchange of rings.
Script of the evening
Together with you we write the script: welcome, aperitivo, order of toasts, cake, first dance. We remove anything you dislike, such as party games.
Toasts and speeches
We collect in advance the names of those who want to speak, suggest length and language, and make sure the toasts do not run on.
Interpreting for guests
The host renders key moments into a second language, so that relatives of both languages follow the ceremony and the congratulations at the same time.
Working with the venue team
The host receives the schedule of the kitchen, the musicians and the photographer and gives cues, so that service and entrances match the programme.
Tell us about your celebration
Tell us the occasion, the date and the number of guests. We will suggest a format, a venue and vendors, and prepare a fixed written estimate before any work starts.
Why the choice of host matters
A language everyone follows
We look for hosts who work comfortably in the couple's language and in Italian or English, so that no group of guests is left listening to speeches it cannot follow.
A script built for the two of you
We do not impose standard games. If you want a calm evening with a few toasts, the host works in exactly that format.
The evening's rhythm under control
The host knows the kitchen and music schedule and does not let dinner drag, so cake and dancing start on time.
A run-through before the day
Before the wedding the host goes through the order of the ceremony with us and with you, so that nobody is lost at the arch.
Common questions about a wedding host
Do we need a host at a small wedding?
For an intimate celebration a master of ceremonies who leads only the ceremony and toasts is enough. We decide together: the fewer the guests, the calmer the format.
Can the host work in two languages?
Yes, we select hosts who speak your language and Italian or English, and we divide the roles: what is said in which language and what is interpreted.
What is the difference between a celebrant and an evening host?
The celebrant, also called the officiant, leads the ceremony itself, while the host runs the dinner and dancing programme. It may be one person or two, depending on the scale of the celebration.
Can we skip contests and games?
Yes, the host works to your script. Many couples choose only toasts, a word from the parents and a few warm moments with no entertainment contests.
How will the host learn our story?
They hold a preliminary call, ask about the couple, the guests and family traditions, and show you a draft of the text, which is then edited to your comments.
