Birthday Party in Florence

A private room or terrace in the centre, a dinner sized to your guests and an evening that carries on without crossing the city.

A city birthday in Florence rests on three decisions: where to gather, where to dine and how guests get home at night. The centre is compact, the limited traffic zone is closed to most cars, and the best rooms hold 20 to 60 people, so the venue depends on your guest count and how people arrive. We look for a private room in a palazzo, a restaurant that closes for your evening or a terrace with a view of the Duomo. Then we prepare the menu, the music and the order of the evening: aperitivo, dinner, toasts, dancing. After dinner guests can move on to a bar, and we settle in advance how to get them there.

What we arrange

01

A private room or terrace

We choose a venue for your guest count and format: a seated dinner, a buffet, cocktails on a terrace. We check the entrance, lift, kitchen and opening hours.

02

Menu and wine

Seasonal Tuscan cooking, a tasting beforehand, separate dishes for guests who avoid meat or gluten. Wines are chosen from Chianti and its surroundings.

03

An aperitivo with a view

The evening can start on a terrace or rooftop overlooking the city and move to a hall for dinner. We watch the sunset, which falls at a different hour each month.

04

Music and after-party

A pianist or trio for dinner, a DJ for dancing, a move to a bar for those who want to continue. Noise hours depend on the district and the venue's rules.

05

Getting around the city

Transfers from the hotel, drop-off close to the entrance, the return at night. In the historic centre we decide beforehand where the car can stop.

06

Gift and surprise

A cake, flowers, a video greeting, a short morning tour of the city for guests. We fit the details to the person being celebrated.

What to know about a celebration in the city

We know the centre from inside

Our office is in Florence, and we know in advance where guests can be dropped and where the road is closed. That saves the evening.

A room sized to your guests

Small rooms hold little more than a dozen people, large palazzi a hundred or more. We do not propose a room that proves cramped or empty.

One evening without relocating

Aperitivo, dinner and dancing can happen in one building. If you want a bar after dinner, we reserve tables beforehand.

One coordinator

On the day they are on site, receiving suppliers, watching the clock and dealing with the venue staff. The estimate is written and ready beforehand.

Questions about a birthday in Florence

Where can we celebrate a birthday in Florence with a view of the Duomo?

Some terraces and rooftops of hotels and palazzi in the centre look onto the dome. Availability depends on the day and the building's rules; we check free dates and hire terms.

Can a whole restaurant be hired for one evening?

Many Florentine restaurants close for a private event, especially in the low season. Terms and minimum guest numbers differ for each, and we confirm them for your date.

How do guests reach a venue inside the limited traffic zone?

Most of the centre is closed to private cars without a permit. We arrange a transfer or a stop at the nearest permitted point, and tell guests in advance how to walk from there.

How late can we celebrate?

Hours depend on the building, the district and permits, and are stricter in residential streets. We state the real time at once so the programme fits it.

How many guests suit a private dinner?

Between 8 and 40 people sit comfortably at one table; a cocktail evening with dancing can take more if the room allows. The venue and the format decide the final number.
