An adult birthday in Tuscany most often becomes a weekend: guests arrive on Friday, the main dinner is on Saturday, a late breakfast follows on Sunday. For a milestone such as 40, 50 or 60, we find a villa where guests can stay and tables are laid in the garden or the wine cellar. We agree the rules with the owners: until what hour music is allowed, how many people the house can host, whether a deposit is due. Then we shape a programme that suits your company: a tasting, a cooking class, live musicians, a late bar by the pool.

A villa for the weekend
We choose a house by the number of beds and the character of your group. Overnight stays, parking and supplier access are settled in advance.
The main dinner
A long table in the garden, the wine cellar or a villa hall. A seasonal menu, a caterer or private chef, wine from neighbouring farms.
Weekend programme
A wine tasting, a pasta lesson, a trip to Montepulciano or Siena, a morning by the pool. How many of these depends on the energy of the group.
Music and host
Live jazz for the aperitivo, a DJ for dancing, a host for toasts and small surprises. Hours and volume follow the villa's rules and the municipality's.
Cake and desserts
A cake made to order or an Italian millefoglie assembled at the party. We hold the tasting beforehand.
Photos and surprises
A photographer at dinner and on the walk, a gift from friends, video greetings, fireworks if the venue permits them.

Questions about a birthday in Tuscany
Where is the best place for a milestone birthday in Tuscany?
For a group staying the weekend, a villa in Chianti or Val d'Orcia works well. For a birthday dinner, a winery, a private room in Florence or a garden outside Lucca all suit.
How many guests can a villa host?
It depends on the villa: some are sized for 10 to 12 people, others for several dozen. We confirm sleeping places and the number permitted for the evening separately.
Until what hour is music allowed at a villa?
The villa owner and the municipality set the rules, and they vary a great deal. We check them before booking so that the evening does not have to end earlier than planned.
Can we plan a surprise for the birthday guest?
Yes. We arrange preparation so they learn of it only on arrival: we agree the scenario with you and keep a separate guest list. It helps to choose in advance which friend acts as your helper.
How far ahead should we book a villa?
For summer and early autumn, from about six months ahead. For winter and spring dates and a smaller group, a few months are enough.
