Wedding in Tuscany, planned turnkey
We take care of the venue, ceremony, guests and the day itself, from the first call to the last guest.
Tuscany is large, and a wedding in Florence, on the Versilia coast or among the Chianti hills differs in more than the view: lead times, roads, permits and the kind of venues available all change. We have organised events in the region for more than 15 years and choose the place to suit your format, not the other way round. This page is the general overview: the areas, the formats and the stages of planning. Each city and ceremony type has its own page, linked at the bottom.
What turnkey planning includes
Choosing the area and venue
We compare areas against your dates and guest count, arrange viewings or show venues on video, and confirm that your date is actually available.
The ceremony
A symbolic ceremony outdoors, a civil ceremony at the comune or a church rite: we explain the differences and handle the paperwork.
Dinner and catering
A menu in the Tuscan tradition, a tasting, the wine list, service staff, tableware and a temporary kitchen where the venue has none.
Flowers and decor
A concept built around the season and the place: arch, tables, lighting, furniture. We set up and take down.
Photo, music and host
We select a photographer and videographer by style, musicians or a DJ, and a bilingual host, then agree the timing of the day.
Guests and transfers
Accommodation, pick-up at the Florence and Pisa airports, shuttles between hotels and the venue, and the ride home at night.
Tell us about your celebration
Tell us the occasion, the date and the number of guests. We will suggest a format, a venue and vendors, and prepare a fixed written estimate before any work starts.
How the work is organised
One coordinator
One person stays in touch with you from the first conversation until the last guest has left, not a chain of account managers.
A written estimate before we start
The estimate is fixed in writing before preparation begins, and any change is discussed and added to the document.
A team based in Florence
We know venues, suppliers and local rules first-hand, not from catalogues. The team speaks your language, along with Italian.
Tuscany only
We do not spread across other Italian regions, so we find a solution quickly when a venue changes its terms.
Common questions about a wedding in Tuscany
How far ahead should we start planning a wedding in Tuscany?
For the May to October season, 9 to 12 months is sensible, because the best venues are taken early for Saturdays. Weekdays, the shoulder season and small weddings can work with 4 to 6 months.
What is the best month for a wedding in Tuscany?
May, June, September and early October are the most requested: warm without the heat. July and August are hot but give long evenings; April and November can be rainy, so a plan B is needed.
Can we have a legally binding wedding in Tuscany?
Yes, a civil ceremony is possible, but the requirements depend on the citizenship of the couple. The list of documents is confirmed with the comune and your consulate, and we help with the order of steps.
How many guests can we invite?
The venue decides: some villas cap at a few dozen guests, others hold well over a hundred. We discuss the guest list first, because it drives the choice of place.
Do you handle weddings where guests speak different languages?
Yes, the team speaks English, Italian, German and Russian. We find a bilingual host or an interpreter for the ceremony and prepare guest materials in the languages you need.
