Yes, palazzi and private halls in the centre work, as do villas on the Fiesole hills. The centre has traffic and noise restrictions, so we plan the late return of guests in advance.
What do people eat in Italy on New Year's Eve?
Traditionally lentils are eaten after midnight for good luck, served with pork dishes such as cotechino, and sparkling wine accompanies the table. The menu can also be more contemporary, which we settle at the tasting.
Will there be fireworks at our villa?
That depends on a municipal permit and the venue rules, so we cannot guarantee them. Without a permit we suggest a light show, cold-spark fountains and a fire in the hearth.
Can we come with children?
Yes, we add a children's area, nannies and an early dinner for the children. If the villa has a pool, we check that it is covered for winter and fenced, so the adults can relax.
