An intimate wedding is designed for about thirty guests, and it follows a different logic. You can take a whole villa and spend the weekend there with family and friends, sit at one long table and find time to talk to everyone. There is no stage and no dance floor for a hundred people, but there is attention to detail. So what matters is less scale than the choice of house: number of beds, kitchen, a garden for the ceremony, the road in for guests. We select the villa, build a programme for two or three days, arrange food and transport, and make sure a small celebration does not become a string of chores for the couple.

We find a villa where close guests stay overnight, counting beds, bathrooms, the kitchen and room for a table in the garden or a hall.

Do we need to rent the whole villa?
For an intimate celebration usually yes: the villa is then yours alone, there are no outside guests and you decide when dinner and music happen. Rental terms and hours rules differ between villas.
How many days should we plan?
Many couples choose a weekend: arrival and a welcome dinner on Friday, the wedding on Saturday, a farewell breakfast on Sunday. That gives time with your people and no rush.
Can an intimate wedding take place in autumn or winter?
Yes, villas operate outside the summer season and more dates are free. Allow for the shorter day and the weather, so we plan the ceremony and dinner indoors, in a room with a fireplace or a large hall.
How is the food arranged at a small wedding?
It can be a served dinner from a caterer or a family table with a chef cooking on site. We propose a menu of seasonal dishes and arrange a tasting if you come ahead of time.
